WHS tennis won 5-0 over Evansville Central on Saturday.
North Daviess shut out Evansville Harrison and Brownstown over the weekend to claim the Cougar Invitational. North Daviess is unblemished at 5 and 0 with a road trip to Bloomfield tomorrow.

The Washington Hatchet Boys Soccer team went on to win the Hatchet Classic on Saturday defeating Bloomington North 4-2. The Hatchets beat New Albany in the first round 3 to 1 to advance to the championship.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has crowned its 20th multi-time Indianapolis 500 champion from 104th running of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” on Sunday. In his second time being awarded the Borg-Warner Trophy, Takuma Sato chugged his two-percent milk in Victory Lane and celebrated the win with a select amount of spectators watching from The Pagoda. The race finished under caution due to a massive wreck by Spencer Pigot on lap 197. Pigot rolled through turn-four and ultimately crashed into the SAFER barrier. Pigot was alert after the wreck and was transported to Methodist Hospital. Without a red flag being issued, Sato crossed the Yard of Bricks with Scott Dixon finishing in 2nd and Graham Rahal 3rd. Dixon led 111 of the 200 laps in the race, and just missed out on his first Indy 500 win since 2008.
The Indiana Pacers will look to avoid being swept at the hands of the Miami Heat in the NBA Eastern Conference Quarter Finals when the teams square off tonight at 6:30 PM in Orlando. Indiana finds themselves down three-games-to-none after most recently losing in Game 3 by a final of 124-115.
The Cincinnati Reds opened with two runs in the top of the 1st inning only to be shut out the rest of the game falling to the Cardinals in St Louis 6 to 2. The Reds drop to 11 and 15 on the season while the RedBirds improved to 9 and 8.
The Chicago Cubs halted the seven-game winning streak of the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon and salvaged the three-game series between the crosstown rivals with a 2-1 win at Wrigley Field. The White Sox won the series two games to one, but the Cubs avoided the sweep with the help of starter Yu Darvish. The native of Japan tossed seven innings of one-run baseball and struck out 10 batters.
