Crews continue to work on the State Road 57/Meridian Street intersection in Washington. If you’ve been through there you have noticed that a 90 degree turn on and off Meridian now exists among the barrels and barricades.
Due to the continued work, Tharp Street located at that intersection will be closed on Friday for repaving. Work will last 3 or 4 days dependent on weather. Through traffic should use the official detour of Meridian, Burris and Southwest 1st Streets.
