Two jailed for battery in separate incidents

 
-At 6:45 last night the Washington Police Department received a call about a reckless driver at Northwest 3rd and Flora.  Officers attempted a traffic stop but the motorist kept going and a short pursuit ensued.  The vehicle was finally stopped and 53-year-old Angela K. Howard was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Battery on Law Enforcement and Battery on Law Enforcement by bodily waste.  No bond was set.
-City officers went to a State Road 257 address after being called about an alleged battery that had taken place.  Arrested following an investigation was 38-year-old Joshua R. Kavanaugh of Washington.  He’s charged with Battery; Battery by Bodily Fluid; Resisting Law Enforcement; Disorderly Conduct; Intimidation; Public Intoxication and Criminal Mischief.  No bond was set.  The incident took place at 8:38pm.
-Police were called to a Southwest 6th Street Home at 3:34 Tuesday morning to investigate a report of threats.  Upon investigation, 31-year-old Brandon Goble of Wheatland was arrested and charged with Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.  Bond was set at $25,000.
