Knox County Chamber announces more winners

        The Knox County Chamber of Commerce has announced more award recipients as they head into their annual awards to be held this Friday online on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
        Organ Battery and Electric has been named the 2020 Small Business of the Year award winner.  That award is for a business with 25 or less employees.  President of the Chamber, Jamie Neal said Organ Battery is what a small business is all about.  It’s been owned an operated by four generations of the Organ family and are in their 75th year. 
        The Business Woman of the Year was also named this week.  Becky Pea-Stenger is the recipient.  She and her husband own Pea Fections in downtown Vincennes. Spencer Burkhart, Board Chair of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce states “Becky is an admired businesswoman and an inspiration to many. He says serves as a mentor to her employees, fellow bakers, and fellow restaurant owners. 
        The Non-Profit of the year went to the Salvation Army.   The local chapter was recognized for what officails said was a commitment to improving the lives of their clients both physically and spiritually.   The Salvation Army has been in Vincennes since 1907.
        Again awards will be formally presented in an online event Friday on the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
