Indiana Conservation Officers released the name of a Jasper teen who died in a drowning this past weekend. 18-year-old Elijah Anderson died Saturday after falling into a lake near Holland in Dubois County. Witnesses said several were swimming on private property a half mile south of the intersection of State Road 64 and State Road 161 intersection when Anderson fell from an elevated diving structure and hit his head before entering the water. Other swimmers could not rescue him. Authorities were called at 2:09-am and a search began. Anderson was found a little over two hours later. The investigation into the incident continues.
