10 New COVID cases in Daviess Co.; 2 in Knox; another death in Dubois

-The Daviess County Health Department reported 10 new cases of COVID 19 in the county in the past 5 days. There have been 128 confirmed cases now in the county. The death toll remains at 17. Nearly 1300 people have been tested.
-The Knox County Health Department reported two new cases of coronavirus in their county today. Both are quarantined at home. There have been 37 cases in Knox County since testing began. Two patients were released from quarantine today. There are currently six active cases in Knox County. One is in the hospital, the others are doing well at home in isolation.
-The Dubois County Health Department today reported their 5th death from COVID 19. Also, 2 more residents were reported to have tested positive. Dubois County has had 242 cases since the pandemic began.
-533 more Hoosiers have tested positive for the coronavirus. That’s according to Monday’s update from the Indiana State Department of Health. That mean more than 40,000 Hoosiers have contracted the virus at some point. At least 2,251 people in Indiana have died from the virus — 11 more than the number reported Sunday. More than 41% of ICU beds are still available in the state, and more than 83% of ventilators are available.
