From the Daviess County Health Department:
As of today, we have a total of 57 confirmed positives cases in Daviess county since the first case was reported in April.
Of those 57, 33 have fully recovered.
17 have died. Fifteen of those deaths were recorded at Ketcham Memorial Center.
2 other Deaths were presumptive COVID positive.
This means the two deaths had symptoms and were exposed to COVID but were not tested.
Since May 1, we have had seven new cases not related to Ketcham. The seven are in quarantine at this time.
Those who have been in direct contact with all positive cases have been notified.
As we enter stage 2 , We hope everyone continues to follow social distancing guidelines and protect yourself and those who are at the highest risk: our elderly population and/or those with pre-existing health conditions.
