Most of this year’s 4th of July Celebration in Otwell has been cancelled. That was the word today from the Jefferson Township Ruritan Club. They say events set for July 2nd, 3rd and 4th are cancelled while some July 4th events are tentatively set to happen. Those include the parade, the popular BBQ chicken and rib dinners, ice cream sales and fireworks. If those events happen the club says they will strictly follow CDC guidelines associated with personal protection equipment and social distancing. The club says the decision to cancel events did not come easy. They will have updates available as time moves on and you can keep up with those on the Jefferson Township Ruritan Club Facebook page.
