Longtime Washington area broadcaster and radio station owner Dave Crooks is selling his Washington radio stations. Crooks owner, of 9 radio stations and 12 signals in Indiana says WAMW will soon belong to his longtime employee, WAMW morning show host, play by play announcer, and sales rep DeWayne Shake. The plan has been in the works for a year. Shake gave thanks to Crooks and his wife Shelly Shake in what he calls a big leap of faith..
Shake says that listeners should not notice any difference when the sale and license transfer is final other than WAMW will be owned by Shake Broadcasting LLC.
