The real priest at the Holy Family Parish in Jasper is telling his flock that he doesn’t need their help in buying gift cards. Father John Boeglin is having to remind his church of that after someone posed as the priest, and started asking for 50 or 100 dollar gift cards. The scammers sent out texts that looked like they came from Father Boeglin. But the real Father Boeglin says they are a scam. Police in Jasper say they are now looking for the scammers.
