-Indiana State Police arrested a Montgomery teen overnight. 18-year-old Mitchell L. Kavanaugh was charged with Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment. He was also found to be in Possession of Marijuana and a Syringe. No bond was set.
-A Washington woman was arrested on a warrant by State Police on Friday. 37-year-old Virginia L. Wilson was booked into the Daviess County Security Center for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Bond was set at $2500
-Alan T. Leanord of Jasper was arrested on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Domestic Battery. Bond was set at $2500.
-Michael L. Crow of Washington was arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant on Friday. Bond was set at $2000.
-A caller reported a Jeep on fire in an alley behind their Southwest 1st Street residence. The call was made at 8:31 on Friday morning. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire. Later that afternoon police received a call from the vehicle’s owner that the Jeep had been stolen. The investigation is continuing.
-There was a 2 vehicle accident reported at 7:24 last night on State Road 57 and Ohio Street in Washington. There were no injuries.
-A hit and run accident was reported to a vehicle in the area around the courthouse on Walnut Street. A vehicle sustained bumper damage and the other vehicle was reported to have left the scene.
