Mary Jane Kelsey, 72, of Loogootee, entered the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her home.
She was born June 28, 1947 in Indian Springs, Indiana to the late Ora and Nellie Pearl (Chastin) Robbins.
Mary Jane enjoyed family get togethers, dancing and listening to music. She loved her morning, afternoon and evening coffee and grilling hotdogs. Mary Jane’s smile could always light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Nellie Robbins; sister, Goldie Clark; brothers, Richard Robbins, Robert Robbins and William “Bill” Wininger; grandson, Kevin Gibson; brother-in-law, Robert Gilbert.
Mary Jane is survived by her children, Charlotte Browder of Shoals and Larry Arnold Kelsey of Loogootee; grandchildren, Trevor Moffitt of Loogootee and Scotty Browder of Shoals; sisters, Annie (Bruce) Nicholson and Ruth Gilbert of Loogootee; brother-in-law, Danny Clark of Loogootee; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
