The GOP swept all but 1 of the Vincennes election.
Republican Cathy Lane was elected Clerk/Treasurer to take over for the retiring Sharon Duke. Lane won over Democrat Angela Herron.
Republican Brian Grove won in District 1, Ed Gornall in District 2, John Stangle in District 3 and challengers Tim Salters and Marc McNeece won in the At Large Race ousting long time council members Duane Chattin and Shirley Rose.
Democrat Incumbent Dan Ravellette won re-election over Republican Challenger Michelle James in Council District 4.
In Monroe City 4 were running for 3 Town Council positions. The winners were Republicans Juan Fuller, Michael Johnson and Matt Powell.
In Edwardsport 6 were vying for 3 Town Council seats. The winners were Republicans Charlie Hunt, Keith Martin and Democrat Earl Martin Junior.
In Decker, 4 were running for 3 council seats. The winners were Republicans Tresa Dobson, Jay Linneweber and Democrat Scott Paul Johnson. Also in Decker, Democrat Kimberly Robbins won over Republican Patricia Roark in the Clerk-Treasurer election.
In Bruceville, 5 were running for 3 council seats. The winners were Republican Brandon Riggle and Democrats Howard Lanam and David Cook.
