A surprised Jane Ann Beard received special recognition at today’s annual meeting of Purdue Extension of Daviess County.
Jane Ann has been a part of Purdue Extension namely with Daviess County 4H for 40 years this year. Those who have worked and know her best gave special tribute with stories and accolades. Jane Ann was not aware she would get the attention today…

The special keynote speaker at the Extension’s Annual Meeting was Drew Garretson a Purdue Alumni Board Member. who gave a history and overview of Purdue University and it’s importance to the ag industry. Purdue is celebrating 150 years this year. Garretson says when it comes to the Extension and 4 it’s all about community development..
