The big fundraiser for the Powerhouse in Washington is this weekend.
The annual Spring Banquet is Saturday at 6 at the Antioch Christian Church. Executive Director Dan Maley says it’s the main fundraiser for the facility catering to the area’s youth by providing a safe teen environment. The Powerhouse’s mission is to change lives one at a time by helping to build character and life skills.
Tickets for Saturday’s banquet are $25 and if you go you’ll get an update on the past year and the vision for the future. There’s a silent auction at 5:30 with items from the crafting and wood shop sessions at the Power House.
Sponsors are also being solicited in the amounts of $500, $250 and $100.
