Hoosier killed in Afghanistan
An Indiana man was one of two American service members killed in a suicide bombing attack in Afghanistan.
The Indiana National Guard reported U.S. Army Sgt. Jonathon Michael Hunter, died in Wednesday’s attack on a NATO convoy in southern Afghanistan.
Hunter’s father says his son, who was married, was 32 days into his first deployment and was providing security for the convoy that was attacked.
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb in offering condolences and prayers for the family is asking all Hoosiers to honor his selfless service to our country.
GOP Indiana Senator Todd Young speaking for all Hoosier said
we are immensely grateful for his service and ultimate sacrifice.
