Officials say the proposed program would support startup and early-stage businesses by offering affordable, short-term retail or workspace leases, along with resources and mentorship to help them grow. The concept includes a six-month low-cost lease with the option to extend up to a year, allowing businesses to build momentum before moving into a permanent location. The incubator would be open to a wide range of businesses, including retail, food, and service-based operations. A countywide survey is now available for current and aspiring business owners to share their interest and help shape the potential program on the Martin County Alliance Facebook page.
