One person was killed and another injured in a crash Tuesday morning in Pike County. According to Indiana State Police Sergeant Todd Ringle, the crash happened around 9 a.m. on State Road 57 just north of County Road 200 South. Authorities say the incident involved a head-on collision between two pickup trucks. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was transported to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville for treatment. State Road 57 was closed for several hours while investigators worked at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no more details were released.
