
RTC Communications is celebrating one of its employees after he was nominated for a statewide workforce development award. Network Technician Ryder Craig was nominated for the 2025 Impact Award in the Intern of the Year category through the Work and Learn Indiana Program, presented by the Institute for Workforce Excellence. Craig was recognized during the Indiana Work-Based Learning Conference on February 12. A graduate of Barr-Reeve High School, Craig completed a two-year apprenticeship with RTC Communications through Regional Opportunity Initiatives’ UpSkill Work & Learn program, gaining hands-on experience in fiber construction, installation, and network engineering. After completing the program, Craig was hired full-time by RTC Communications and is continuing his education at Ivy Tech Community College, where he is studying Network Infrastructure.
