MARIE YODER

She was born on July 28, 1944, in Montgomery, Indiana to Henry and Lydia (Lengacher) Raber.

Marie was a member of Fresh Start Chapel in Washington, Indiana, where she was strong and steadfast in her faith. Her devotion to her church and her relationship with the Lord were guiding lights throughout her life.

Marie was a devoted homemaker who dedicated herself to raising her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Her home was always warm and welcoming.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, and she was known for generously sharing her homemade meals and baked goods with friends, family, and even the mailman. Marie also loved gardening and took pride in growing beautiful flowers that brightened her yard and brought joy to others.

Known for her warm hugs and kind heart, Marie was a cherished member of her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great- Grandchildren, her siblings, Herbert (Barbara) Raber, Corene (David) Graber, David Raber, Joseph Raber, Anna Mae Stoll, sister-in-law, Rosie (Wagler) Raber, and brother-in-law, Lewis Jr. Graber.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lester Yoder, her children, David Lee Yoder, Ruth Ann (Louis) Wagler, Henry (Katie) Yoder, Rachel (Joe) Knepp, Betty (Scott) Hall, Marge (Glenn) Wagler, Sam (Marla) Yoder, Leon Yoder, Lydia (Greg) Knepp, Elvin Yoder, 36 Grandchildren, 67 Great- Grandchildren, siblings: John Raber, Sarah (Ezra) Lengacher, Henry Jr. (Ida Mae) Raber, Victor (Dorothy) Raber, Wilma  Graber, Fred (Mary Catherine) Raber, Loren (Sharon) Raber and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 P.M at Parson Event Center in Montgomery, Indiana. Burial will follow in Fresh Start Chapel Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.

Visitation will begin on Saturday February 28, 2026, from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at the Parson Event Center and again on Sunday March 1, 2026, from 1:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M and 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M.
