PROJECT UPDATE: Phase 2 of the bridge deck replacement project on U.S. 50 in Knox County is set to begin on or around Tuesday, March 10. These lane closures are part of Phase 2 of a bridge deck replacement project over Fort Knox Drive. During this phase, eastbound lanes will be closed, with westbound lanes handling both directions of travel. Lane closures will allow for the replacement of the eastbound bridge deck. This work is expected to last through mid-August, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
