Emergency crews responded Monday afternoon to a crash involving a child on an electric scooter near the McDonald’s on East National Highway in Washington.
According to dispatch reports, the 11-year-old was struck by a vehicle around 4:55 p.m. Police, fire, and EMS units arrived on scene within minutes.
The child was transported to Daviess Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released further details, and the incident remains under investigation.
