
A Loogootee man was arrested Friday morning in Daviess County on charges of operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended. According to Indiana State Police, Trooper Steve Nolan stopped a 2016 Chevrolet for speeding on County Road 900 East near Cannelburg. During the stop, the trooper observed signs of impairment from the driver, identified as 26-year-old Griffin L. Spring. A records check also showed his driver’s license was suspended prior. Spring was transported to the Daviess County Jail for a chemical test and later booked on charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended Prior, both Class A misdemeanors. All criminal defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
