Emergency crews responded Sunday evening to a personal injury crash near Cherry Tree Plaza and East National Highway in Washington.
According to dispatch reports, an SUV struck a light pole near the Arby’s/Hardee’s area around 6 p.m.
Callers told 911 the driver appeared to be experiencing a medical episode and was initially unresponsive, though breathing.
Washington Police, Washington City Fire Department, and DCH EMS arrived on scene.
The driver was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for treatment. The vehicle was later towed from the scene.
