The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is hosting a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, March 31, from noon to 1 p.m. focused on building stronger partnerships between local schools and employers. The free event will take place at the Bowling Manufacturing Building, 99 W. Washington Street in Loogootee, and will highlight work-based learning opportunities, including student internships and apprenticeships. The session is designed to help local businesses understand how they can collaborate with Loogootee and Shoals school corporations to support students while building a local talent pipeline. Lunch will be provided. Businesses are encouraged to RSVP by March 24. For more information, contact Jessica Potts at the Martin County Alliance.
