The Loogootee High School spring musical is right around the corner, and this year students will bring The Addams Family to life on stage in the school auditorium. Music director Lindsey Walton says this long-requested show is the perfect fit for the cast, which includes nearly 70 students from grades 7 through 12. Rehearsals are already underway, choreography has begun, and volunteers are preparing to build the set in the coming days. Senior Camilla Wilson will take on the lead role of Wednesday Addams, while fellow senior Dalton Strange steps into the role of Gomez. Performances are set for March 13 at 7 p.m., March 14 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and March 15 at 2 p.m. To help cover production costs, the musical program will host a BBQ fundraiser on February 22 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Center, featuring sandwiches, sides, and desserts.
