The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is reminding property owners that applications are now open for the 2026 Facade Grant Program, with a deadline of February 27, 2026. The program offers a 1-to-1 matching grant of up to $4,000 for exterior building improvements on commercial properties located within the city and town limits of Crane, Loogootee, and Shoals. Eligible projects include masonry repair, painting, signage, entrance doors, awnings, decorative details, restoration of original architectural features, and window repair or replacement when part of a larger facade project. The grant is designed to help improve building exteriors while strengthening the appearance of local communities.
