
Two men were arrested Thursday evening after Knox County deputies discovered a large amount of narcotics during a traffic stop in Vincennes. Deputies stopped a gray Chevy Malibu just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of 2nd and Vigo streets. A K-9 unit alerted officers to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located approximately 10 pounds of methamphetamine during a search. The driver, Joseph Martinez, and passenger, Travis Heath, were taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail. Both face charges related to the possession and distribution of methamphetamine.
