694f0e151e6c7

Pike County prosecutors have filed multiple felony charges against 56-year-old Jerry Oliver Uppencamp of Petersburg following an investigation into alleged child molesting incidents. Court records show Uppencamp was initially charged December 12 with Level 4 felony child molesting. As the investigation continued, authorities uncovered evidence of additional incidents, leading to two counts of Level 1 felony child molesting and another Level 4 felony charge. Pike Circuit Court Judge Evan Biesterveld found probable cause in the cases and set combined bond at $1.15 million, with 10 percent permitted. If convicted, Level 1 felonies carry potential prison sentences of up to 40 years or more, while Level 4 felonies carry possible sentences of up to 12 years. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
