The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is partnering with Indiana University to collect data on transportation challenges facing local residents. Officials say feedback from the community will help identify barriers common in rural areas and guide future transportation solutions in Martin County. The survey will remain open for one week and is available both online and in paper form. Paper copies can be found at several Loogootee locations, including IGA, Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy, Bauer Family Coffee, RJ’s Gas Station, Ruler Foods, and the Loogootee Marathon. The online survey link is available on the Martin County Alliance Facebook page.
