A 27-year-old woman suffered head injuries after being ejected from a Jeep during a rollover crash Friday afternoon at East 1000 North and North 475 East. First responders were dispatched around 12:16 p.m. and found the driver bleeding from the head but alert and able to speak. Multiple units from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, emergency medical services, and area fire departments responded. Air medical transport was declined, and the woman was taken by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital. A wrecker service later removed the vehicle from a ditch. Officials say this was one of several accidents reported across the county yesterday as slick road conditions persisted.
