Daviess Community Hospital will offer free childbirth education classes in 2026 to help expecting parents prepare for labor, delivery, and caring for a newborn. The four-week sessions, hosted by the hospital’s Women’s Health Center, will be held on select evenings from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. at DCH in Washington. Each class provides hands-on instruction from healthcare professionals, covering labor and delivery, pain management and relaxation techniques, breastfeeding, newborn care, and building confidence for the birth experience. The next session begins January 13. Registration is required by calling DCH Lactation Services at 812-254-8620, ext. 1344 and leaving a message if no one is available.
