Odon’s Festival of Lights Parade and Two-Day Christmas Celebration Set for Sunday and Monday

Odon will kick off its holiday season this weekend with the annual Festival of Lights Parade, hosted by the North Daviess Community Growth Alliance in partnership with the Spirit of Christmas Committee. The parade takes place Sunday, December 7, with lineup at 5 p.m. at the former school building and step-off at 5:30 p.m. The parade will move through Main Street and finish at Odon Park, where festivities continue from 6:30–8 p.m. Events include a community devotional, a program by the Bible Institute, hot chocolate and cookies, and the lighting of the park and Christmas tree. The celebration continues Monday, December 8, from 7:15–8 p.m. at Odon Park with a visit from Santa, kids’ crafts, more cookies and hot chocolate, and two gift basket drawings, one for a boy and one for a girl at 7:45 p.m. For questions, call 698-0424.
