State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) announced that applications are now open for the 2026 Indiana Senate Page Program. The full-day program gives students in grades 6–12 the chance to tour the Statehouse, observe Senate debates, assist staff with age-appropriate tasks, and meet their state senator. Bassler encouraged local students to participate. “Paging allows students to see their state government in action and gain a deeper understanding of how it works,” he said. The program runs January through the legislative session, with pages scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and group days on Wednesdays. Students receive an excused absence from school to participate. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and spots fill quickly.
