The City of Washington is reminding residents that several downtown streets will be under temporary no-parking restrictions for the 2025 Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6. Parking will be prohibited from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following streets: Main Street from Highway 57 east to N.E. 7th Street
Main Street from Highway 57 west to Meridian Street
N.E. 7th Street from Main Street to Bedford Road
The city says the restrictions are necessary to ensure safety along the parade route. Vehicles parked in these areas during the restricted hours will be towed at the owner’s expense.
