Daviess County officials have released the annual legal notice outlining taxpayers approved for property tax abatements in designated Economic Revitalization Areas for 2025. The notice, issued pursuant to IC 6-1.1-12.1-8, lists companies receiving deductions from assessed true tax value on both real estate and personal property. Businesses approved include Boyd, Inc. (1 Way Technologies), Alliance Barrier Films, JBR Rentals, Berry Global, Eagle Railcar Services, Graber Post, Great Eastern Acquisition Corp., IMPA, Indiana Safety, Maysville Enterprises, NASCO, Simplified Developments, True Real Estate Company, and Westgate Seven, LLC. Abatements range from five to ten years depending on property type. According to the notice, total approved abatements for 2025 include $3,573,211.35 in personal property and $21,153,500 in real estate, for a combined abatement total of $24,726,711.35. The figures reflect assessed value reductions, not dollar amounts paid, and are used to calculate net assessed value for taxation.
