For the sixth year in a row, Bender Lumber will match all donations made to Salvation Army Red Kettles in five Indiana counties the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. On November 28 and 29, every dollar dropped into kettles in Daviess, Greene, Lawrence, Morgan, and Orange counties will be doubled. With rising household costs increasing demand for assistance, Bender Lumber has expanded its total matching funds, allowing local Salvation Army programs to receive up to $11,600 in additional support for 2026. Salvation Army officials say the match comes at a critical time, helping boost resources during one of the busiest fundraising weekends of the year.
