
Emergency crews were called to Eastside Park in Washington early Saturday after a caller reported seeing a vehicle partially submerged near the recycle center. The incident was reported around 5:32 a.m. Dispatchers were initially unsure whether anyone was inside the vehicle. Washington Police, firefighters, and EMS arrived within minutes and searched the area but found no occupants. Medics cleared the scene after determining no injuries were present. A wrecker from Briggeman’s later removed the vehicle.
