The Loogootee Christmas Stroll will once again feature its popular Cookie Bake-Off, returning for its second year on Saturday, December 6 at 4 p.m. The event will take place in the tent beside Tracy Lynn’s Candies, Etc. on Main Street. The bake-off is open to anyone, with no entry fee required. Participants must provide four dozen individually wrapped cookies, which will be numbered for anonymous judging. The public can taste and vote for their favorites for just $1 per vote, with all proceeds supporting the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). The baker with the most votes will win a 2026 season pass to the Loogootee Swimming Pool. Organizers say the event offers a fun way to enjoy holiday treats while giving back to the community.
