Discover Downtown Washington received state recognition yesterday as the Indiana Historical Society presented the group with their Outstanding Collaborative Project Award. The award was given to the group for their new Historic Walking Trail that has been established downtown. The trail now has plaques with QR codes that describe the rich history of each of the historic buildings on our Main Street. IU students teamed with Discover Downtown on the Project and worked all last year developing the program.
