Our Community Foundation has announced Barr-Reeve Community Schools as a recipient of the Teaching Innovator Grant for the fall semester. Teacher Rachel Graber received a $250 grant to fund her project, Early Literacy Tools for Multiple Learning Styles, and was named a Teaching Innovator. The project will provide new books and hands-on learning materials to help young students strengthen early literacy and critical thinking skills through interactive, play-based learning. Foundation President Travis Schaffer said the program invests in innovative education across Daviess County, helping prepare students for success. The Foundation’s Administrative Fund supported the grant program.
