Senior & Family Services will host Medicare Healthy Seniors Day on Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Eastside Park Community Building in Washington. The free event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, featuring health and wellness booths, mini-seminars, free sack lunches, and bingo. Vendors will provide a range of health screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, memory, balance, anxiety, and depression checks. The Daviess County Health Department and Williams Brothers Pharmacy will offer vaccines for COVID, RSV, shingles, and flu (bring insurance or Medicare cards). DCH Neat Feet will provide toenail trimming for $25 by appointment at 812-254-8950. Attendees can also enter drawings for a $100 Walmart gift card and two $50 Walmart gift cards. The event is sponsored by United Way of Daviess County and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). WAMW will broadcast live from the fair from 9–11 a.m.
