Fernando Mendoza threw five touchdown passes and D’Angelo Ponds scooped up the punt he blocked and returned it 11 yards for a score Saturday night, and the Indiana Hoosiers dominated Fighting Illini from  Illinois,  63-10 for its first win over a top 10 foe in five years — and easily the most lopsided.
Indiana’s previous best was a 31-10 victory at then No. 9 Ohio State in 1987. It marked the first time since 1950 the Hoosiers and Fighting Illini squared off with each ranked.

Colts 41 Titans 20
Jonathan Taylor led the Indianapolis Colts to a 41-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans with 102 rushing yards and three touchdowns. This win, making the Colts 3-0 marks the Colts’ best start since 2009. Kenny Moore’s 32-yard pick-six on the third play of the game put the Colts ahead, and Tyquan Lewis contributed two of the team’s four sacks. The Colts dominated, outgaining Tennessee 145-34 in the first quarter, leading 17-3, and controlling the game throughout. Daniel Jones, with 228 passing yards and a touchdown to Michael Pittman, secured as many wins this season as he had in his last 16 starts with the Giants and he remains interception-free.
