It’s Carfest Weekend in Washington, and the community is gearing up for lots of classic rides from all around the Midwest converging on Eastside Park for the big show. The Cruiz will start things off Saturday night, leaving the park at 5:30pm. Same route as last year. Then after the cruiz, the Club is proud to welcome the band Vyntyge Skynyrd from Boston to Washington to perform all the hits of Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Bandstand Saturday night around 7:30pm. The show is free, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music. On Sunday, the show begins, and Shane Matthews with the Club tells us the Golf Cart giveaway is back again this year…
Tickets will be sold at the park before the end of the show. Cacklefest will also be back once again, and the silent auction will be held at the Community Building from 10am to 2pm.
