The Daviess County Airport will host its first annual Wings & Wheels Fly-In & Car Show on Saturday, September 27. The free, family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will showcase both aircraft and automobiles. Judging begins at 1 p.m., with plaques and cash prizes awarded at 3 p.m. for categories including People’s Choice Top Five, Best in Show, and First Responders’ Favorite. Food trucks will be available on site. The Washington RC Aero Club will perform aerobatic displays, and equipment from the Indiana State Police, Washington Fire Department, and Daviess County Sheriff’s Department will be on display, along with possible medical helicopter demonstrations.
