Daviess Community Hospital will host its annual Community Health Fair on Friday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Simon J. Graber Complex in Odon. The event offers a variety of free services, including cholesterol and blood pressure checks, paraffin hand treatments, depression and anxiety screenings, carbon monoxide and Alpha-1 tests, heart-healthy education, and a DCH EMS ambulance walkthrough. Free biscuits and gravy will be served from 7–10 a.m., and a BINGO session with prizes runs from 9–10 a.m. Low-cost screenings will also be available, such as flu shots ($25 regular, $70 high-dose), simple spirometry ($15), PSA tests for men 50+ ($17), Hemoglobin A1C tests ($17), cholesterol and chemistry panels ($44), calcium heart scans ($49), and women’s health screenings including pap smears and mammograms by appointment. A vendor fair featuring local organizations will run throughout the morning. Appointments are required for mammograms, pap smears, calcium heart scans, and foot clinics.
