
A dump truck with its tailgate open spilled dirt onto the westbound lanes of U.S. 50 near Huck’s in Washington Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded around 2:45 p.m. and reported “quite a bit of dirt” on the roadway.
INDOT crews were called to clear the debris at multiple locations, including near the U.S. 50 and State Road 257 intersection.
By 3:30 p.m., most of the debris had been removed, though officials noted some dirt remained on the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
