The Daviess County Farm Bureau will host its annual meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Washington Community Building. Featured speaker Todd Davis, chief economist for the Indiana Farm Bureau, will present “Tariff Update Since ‘Liberation Day’” along with other pressing issues affecting agriculture, including inflation, rising interest rates, and volatile input costs. Farm Bureau President Randy Kron said Davis’ position was created to help members better understand how shifting policies and economics impact farming operations. The event is open to the public, and a complimentary meal will be provided.
