AgroRenew, a bioplastics company based in Vincennes, has provided an update on its new 196,000-square-foot facility in Knox County, which will serve as both its manufacturing plant and corporate headquarters. The company is facing delays due to a newly imposed 50% tariff on specialized European equipment needed for production. AgroRenew is seeking a tariff waiver and remains committed to beginning operations by Fall 2026. CEO Brian Southern says the company is working closely with officials to stay on track and thanks the community for its continued support
