After 33 years of service, North Daviess choir director Amy Dedina is set to retire at the end of the 2024–2025 school year. Dedina began her career at North Daviess in 1992 after graduating from Ball State University and went on to lead acclaimed choir performances, musicals, and plays. Throughout her tenure, she also served in leadership roles with the Indiana Music Educators Association and Indiana Choral Directors Association. Dedina holds a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and continues to direct the adult choir at Odon Methodist Church. An open house celebrating her retirement will take place on Sunday, June 8, from 2–4 p.m. at the North Daviess Auditorium.
